Tvs2300 on mine, I went from a standard monaro to what I have now and it is a massive difference in power not looked where you live, but your welcome to have a drive see if it's your after in power, been to SRR with 30k miles in between each test and it came out the same bhp 499 at the wheels 628 at the flywheel

I am looking for any advice ascertaining to supercharging such as what sort would be the best to go with and what sort of popower I should expect.
Also what supporting mods I would need I am running a cammed ls2 with full exhaust atm.
Any advice would be much appriciated.

Hi OP,
I use to own a Monaro VXR 6.0 that ran a H122 supercharger, the power increase and feel from a stock model was like chalk and cheese, always wanted a S/C and was lucky enough to get a cheap S/H one from Monkfish.
After attending a few Thunder Roads I was surprised to see how well cammed cars kept the s/c'd ones at bay until silly speeds, hence the reason I've now only cammed my GTS and not gone the S/C route.
The costs of a S/C against a CAM only for performance on the road, IMHO, just aren't worth it.
Also bear in mind, depending what S/C you go for, TVS2300 for example, you'll need to factor in a clutch and probably a fuel system, then look at bigger tyres on the rear to get the power down, it's a never ending expense, it's OK if you have the spare cash, but if you can only just afford a S/C, don't do it !! Keep it CAMMED

Although I'm not yet in a position to do this, it is something that I have been considering. I'm led to believe that the power delivery of these mods are very different - with the s/c giving plenty of low down power whereas a cam set up will be more linear or possibly more top end - or have I got this wrong? I'd love to put a TVS2300 on mine but the costs are making it quite prohibitive. While a cam and heads aren't cheap (mine's an LS1) they are less than the s/c set up. It's just the driving characteristics that I'd want to know about. I'm leaning more towards the cam now especially after the videos that Mr Cv8 has posted recently. Unless someone knows of a second hand s/c kit for an LS1 going of course..... ha ha I use to own a Monaro VXR 6.0 that ran a H122 supercharger, the power increase and feel from a stock model was like chalk and cheese, always wanted a S/C and was lucky enough to get a cheap S/H one from Monkfish.
