Exhaust System
Discussion
What do you want? More noise? More power?
If the latter then AFAIK you can't get any more just by changing the exhaust.
If the former, then as said above, beware as standard cars are already 97-98dB at 6500rpm. Unfortunatly there is a lot of "mechanical" noise as the exhaust is so short that sticks the dB up considerably (if you test it when the car is only warm, rather than very hot, then you can get 110-115dB!!!!

Hi Joust,
its not really for noise or performance its more for looks really, my car still has the exhaust which exits out the floor, would the 3R exhaust fit the car without any modifications???

In that case, yes you can have a 3R exhaust fitted. I had one done to my 2.5l car!
However, I must say that cars with the exit at the bottom sound much more like fighter jets going past than 3R style ones - I sometimes regret getting mine changed.
It's a bit expensive (£1000 or something like that - the actual price is on the "diary" page), but as that was for a 2.5l engine that had to have the exhaust "bent" quite a lot to make it fit, it may be cheaper now.
Speak to your dealer / service centre - I'm sure they'll give you a price.
The website's a bit out of date I'm afraid - I might get around to updating it soon!
