Anyone got an S2 Vixen with Battery tray bulkhead…The pre-formed box is 10" x 6" I am interested to know what batteries and outputs people have.

Hi Neil, not an answer to your question (hey, it's a forum after all ;-) but an alternative for people to consider, there is a real nice spot in the passenger's foot well to put a battery in, low centre of gravity, clean engine bay, short leads to starter motor etc. Here an example of proto fitment.

Right. found a 410a 45A battery that fits…
Always like to see the alternative what have I done with my battery tray posts but I am a sucker for originality.

What batteries are most running on vixens power wise?

I'm using a 30amp motorcycle/ride on lawn mower battery. It gives 370cca and starts my daimler v8 fine. I might relocate it as shown above - nice idea smile
