Remapping Audis?

changed the astra yesterday for a nice a4 estate.
its got the 2ltr turbo diesel but has been de-tuned to get £30 a year road tax.
does anyone know or reccomend someone who can re-map it back to full tunedness?
I know its same engine as my neighbours a3 which puts out 170bhp but mines tuned down to 136bhp

Had my A4 mapped at the dealers before I picked it up.Huntingdon Audi have a tame map specialist.My car was the 2:0ltr tdi-170 originally (new car) after mapping I put it onto the rolling road where I worked then, conservative reading came out at 194bhp flywheel reading! Rather rapid LeMans trip followed a few days later and criusing at 100mph gave 47mpg, this I thought was really nice 
It also became a much nicer car to drive, smoke increase was very slight btw. Go for it, youll not regret it.

you say detuned but I'm guessing it's the standard 2.0 TDi 136 rather than a 170 that has in fact been detuned. I'm not so sure it is just a map on the 170 version, they may have different injectors, etc. changed the astra yesterday for a nice a4 estate.

I worked for Audi a few years ago and have driven loads of A4's but don't actually know the answer to the above. 35bhp does seem like a big jump on just a map though, especially where the characteristics of the 136/143/170 2.0 TDi's are so similar. It's not like the 170 has a power band that is less broad than the lower powered units as you might expect to find on a more 'mapped' version.
Is it the B7 or the B8/B8.5 version?

The difference in performance is stunning, the car was no slouch before with 265 bhp but now up at 315 bhp and oodles of torque plus Steve and his Mrs are really sound.

the 143 and the 170 (couldn't find the 136) seem to have the same Borg Warner BV43 turbo as standard. I'm 95% sure the injectors are different as I couldn't find the 170 injectors online but the 143 has injectors that only fit the engine numbers associated with 143's.SP Autobahn in Stirling are REVO dealers. Depends on who does the servicing, and if the map is traceable.Like I said, the dealer whom I bought my second A4 from s uggested the chip and rranged it to be done before I collected the car.Had 60k totally trouble free miles before selling it on to a member on here.Mr Trophy said:

MRC have a great reputation on all the Audi forums, but for me a drive to Banbury and back just wasn't worth it. What happens if things weren't quite right or I did future mods, I'd have to drive back down there.
On Audi srs forum, a lot of people dismissed REVO, but a few things really stand out. You can buy the switch so that you can have switchable maps. One for optimum performance, standard power, anti-theft mode (even if they have your keys).
I know Stuart at SP Autobahn will take your car out on the road and live map it. He will adjust the fueling, timing etc to get your car running spot on.... he's very good.
I had a friend who was looking at getting his VW done and 2010 onwards the ecu's are locked. Revo were the only ones he could find who had managed to write software to overcome this. Mapping is done through your port as normal, where some were wanting to remove his ecu. 20% sale on just now too, but think it ends soon.
If you are worried about a warranty, then I don't think any map is invisible as your boost will be increased. Switching back to the standard map before any warranty work? Would this then show?.. I'm not sure. I do know that Revo do a lot of work with Porsche.

even if it needs to bigger injectors, i'd be up for that to get the extra horses and torques!!

I'm not sure if the injectors were a weak point as recently as the B8 models but they may actually be something that need addressed anyway at some point. It won't be a cheap job to upgrade and you may need to check the capabilities of the turbo on the 136.
