Im looking for a good reasonably priced tyre supplier in the Essex area. I live about 6 miles from Romford. Any recommendations please and any advice on tyre manufacturer and type very welcome

Jet Tyres in Canvey Island - always been cheaper than Elite and you don't have to put a paper bag over your head to avoid being spotted in Elite's emporium

Tyre tech in Braintree, owns a 996 himself, one man band new equipment and a top bloke too.

been there for my 964 and recomended others to go too, they are also happy.

A couple of the 924 turbo owning PCGB Essex Region brigade owned a tyre place in Braintree many years ago - a less than salubrious operation on the industrial estate at Rayne - have they gone upmarket then or does Tyre Tech have no connection to them?

No idea Ruby, he was recomended to me by Ken Chambers (PCGB)and I found him to be good enough to recomend.
I've no idea if he ever had a partner or anything similar.
