Does anyone know why there seem to be so many lightly used LHD speciale for sale and all for only around 170k-200k ?

They generally have proper miles on them so have clearly been used but then seemingly moved on fairly quickly. Are they cheaper on the continent to start with or are folk maybe finding them hard to shift and therefore a fairly attractive market has quickly developed ?

I think the base price here was 236k euro + 8k 'not-green' tax. Of course you could add 40% more in options.
Quite a few 0km new for sale around 250k with options.

Same reason there are more Scud's / CS's and alike - EU is a more liquid / higher number of units sold so therefore it makes sense that you'll find a higher number of comparable cars to the UK for sale. Pick any car and that rule applies...

TBH What ever the reason, if you're in the market for one of these things get in there while the Euro / Stirling rate is with us as it's the bargain of the year - people are paying that for RHD Scuds!

Same as seeing plenty of 991 gt3s available in the continent. Was quite reliably told both cars were available with (small) discounts from new earlier in the year and I guess they have quite a lot more supply than RHD UK cars. Plus possibly rather less hype on both....
