Its still for sale but way lower price, could be a reason to bring it back to the UK? 
maybe not that original but I guess not to bad price-wise?

If Mr Prideaux was looking for a climax project he could do a lot worse than that. I think it is a lovely thing. Not sure my back would take it though.
Its moving in the right direction but then again I have had a few x-mas days looking around on e-bay and the cost of some mass produced classics is making some of these rare beasts seem more and more of a bargain.

I nearly went to see it and got a long way into researching its history. It was owned by the guy I bought my Vixen from and both were restored by a big nob in the TVR scene. I've got some restoration pics and detail if anyone's interested. The French owner doesnt have this info. He's changed the twin SU's for a Weber and sorted the dash electrics but not used it much. He paid more than the asking price.
At the time I tried to find out a recent sale price of one in the UK but due to a ridiculous case of mistaken identity entered into a debacle on PH
