An odd one... Rice Crackers
Discussion
Hi All,
This is an odd one, short explanation is my Son is seemingly having allergic reactions to nearly every food that exists. I need to find some very specific items to feed him, and we're struggling.
I need to find plain rice crackers, you know the things that people eat that taste like cardboard in an attempt to be fit and healthy.
When I say plain, I mean literally the only ingredient needs to be plain wholegrain brown rice, or just plain rice.
We found a pack that were like this, but there is a sub note detailing the fact that they are made in a factory that has dairy - this is a key food stuff that we have to avoid.
So.... any ideas? We're going to try a specialised healthfood shop tomorrow, but any assistance is hugely appreciated.
Thanks !

So, lets try again
no other ingredients other than wholegrain brown rice, or just rice. The ones you linked to have salt in...
Kallo - the brand you link to on Waitress - are the only ones that do truly plain ones, but they are the ones that are made in a factory that has dairy, and they can't be sure it won't have dairy in.

'Processed in a factory which also handles X,Y,Z' etc is ass-covering so the manufacturer can't be sued.
Of this I am sure, but he still reacted when he had rice cakes that had that on the label. We simply can't take the risk, so quite frighteningly, it has to have no mention of dairy at all. Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
