Two suggestions:

Add a link on the post.asp page to pop-up a window of the thread responses so far. While clearly I could bring up a window myself and navigate to it, it would be handy if there was a simple link. Alternatively - include the thread-so-far below at the bottom of the post.asp page (as some other forums do). It's just really handy to refer back to other posts when writing a response. If there needs to be a limit on the number of posts included on that page, then I guess no more than the first post, plus the last 10 would be fine.

Please allow
blah blah
instead of having to give quote=name - it would make life easier and I don't think it would cause confusion to the reader. I typically respond to several bits of a post and I think it's only necessary to quote the name for the first quoted section.

Fair points. I'll bear those in mind next time I'm meddling with the code.

I thought you could already do that? (I've just tried it with your post there)

I agree about the other bit also - having perhaps the most recent 10 replies at the bottom of the post.asp page would be very handy.
Thanks!

Edit: Nope, apparently you can't do it. That's really weird, I was sure you could but ah well - it is early in the year!!
