991 C2S or C4S

Looking to buy 991, just not sure whether or not to get the C2S or the C4S. From a cosmetic point of view I prefer the look of the C4S, which is the best drive and most rewarding daily drive?
Any thought welcome.....
Plenty of magazines seem to rate the 991 C4S over the 2 wheel drive version. I ran a 997 C4S as a daily driver for 7 years.and it was an excellent choice.Any thought welcome.....
Think I'd go for a for used turbo for same money. There are loads of pre registered turbos for circa £115k which what a new 991 4S with a few toys will cost. If a turbo not your bag explore the GTS too. I've driven all of them and unfortunately for you they're all brill so tough choice. There's something to be said for a bog standard C2S with a manual gearbox..
Driven both and despite PDK and electric steering, they really are great cars.
I actually preferred the C4s - slightly better steering and chassis, and of course the wide body.
PSE a bit contrived, but you've got to have it. Needs the 'Sport' button depressed to feel more eager, did not like PDCC though.

I ran a 997T for nearly four years so I know what great cars they are, just think the 991t is so quick that you would get more fun out the non-turbo versions and they sound so much better....
I wouldn't buy new, looking at up to 12 month old car.
Have never enjoyed any turbo i've driven in the past until I drove the 991 version, I was giggling while I was driving. I wouldn't buy new, looking at up to 12 month old car.

There are quite a few nearly new cars up at Porsche Hatfield earlier today. The used black 911 targa 4S looked very cool indeed. Buyers market for these nearly new cars so make sure you get a good discount. I would not be wanting to pay more than 80% of the list price for them if I was in your lucky shoes! List is surprisingly high on them.

Interesting what you say about it being a buyers market, I had conversations with three OPC's on Monday, still waiting for any of them to get back to me.....

Lol. There are a few cars at Hatfield that I have seen which have been sitting unregistered and then registered with a few thousand miles for over 12 months. You should go in there if its not far away from you. Quite a few cars to look at it.
Thanks, I make a visit and see what they say.....Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
