DB7 V12 VANTAGE ** FEW ISSUES !! ** HELP PLEASE !!

Hi All,

new to this site ! which i guess is prob a bit odd !! but looks great and looking forward to spending time here !

anyway, i have a 2000 db7 v12 vantage, will a couple of issues I'm hoping to get some advice.

the first one is there is a smell of oil, no visible leaks etc, just a whiff of oil through vents, i suspect rocker cover gasket ? is this common or is there something else common?

the second is the heater, the speed only works on 3 or demise, and the hot air is not always hot? and will only blow hot on the screen and cold on the feet !! any ideas ? anything basic to check or again common issues?

the cars fairly recent to me, and don't know previous owner although it does have aston history of course,

Not sure where you are in the country by Chiltern Aston know their onions when it comes to 7's.

I agree with both of the posts above. If you go to the AMOC website be sure to post your question under the "Bloxham" section and you will get assistance from some knowledgable owners who are regular contributors. I have a couple of V12 "7's", however, I openly confess to being a complete moron, as far as mechanical issues are concerned,....I simply do the driving and cleaning.

The fans have a small printed circuit on top of the casing regulating the speeds,if wrong it will only allow the full speed.
