What are going to be the be movers, price wise in 2015 ?
Discussion
So 2014 has seen a number of significant moves in classic and sports car prices of certain models and marques, just looking forwards to 2015 I wonder what will start to increase in 2015.
Not really interested in making money its more the fact that if you don't buy now you won't be able to afford it in the future ...
My starter for 10 ... having assumed 911's and classic ferraris continue to go stratospheric !!
Porsche 928
205 gti 1.9
Lancia evo ( further to go ?)
Classic subaru's
Or are there some due for a pricing re alignment ?
Views ?

I have to say the c63's look great fun ( never driven one)
Re the market, as I said I am not speculating but if I hadn't bought a couple of mine a few years I would be struggling to buy them now.
Had a chance to swop my 2.7rs lightweight for a 250 swb in a straight swop a few years ago, still kicking myself now as the 250's my dream car.
Re interests rates rising, bring it on it will dive prices of investment property down and interest on cash savings up !!
What's not to like

E36 M3's when people realise they're excellent cars. Nice ones are difficult to find and have great Credidentials In evo form. An E36 Evo in saloon form will be worth more than it was in recent years.
The unloved E60 M5 will probably fall more, and be bought by the wrong people.
Audi RS4 with the V8, I could see falling due to timing chain and coking issues becoming more apparent. Could be a good used buy if they're taken into account though.

With the launch of the mk4 mx5 next year mk1 prices will start to increase, for good clean either limited edition models or even original uk spec ones.
Theres less for sale currently on ebay over the last 3 years there usual around 1000 mx5 at any given time this winter its down under 800.
Cheap rust free ones are around but you have to be incredible lucky to find one or know someone that has no interest in them.
I bought a mk1 vr ltd this year for £1600 rust free lowish miles, loads of nice bits on it, ive done some work upgraded brakes, suspension, twine exit exhaust etc, I wont lose money on that.
Mk2 on the other hand are dropping like a stone mainly due to worse rust issues than the mk1. Also early mk3 are dropping too.
The amount of mx5 either being bought for kit cars, race teams, drifting is still growing, the cheap ones have got into the hands of the scene kids. Loads are being stripped for parts mainly rusty/crash damaged ones so only one way that good clean mk1 will do is go up in values.

Coincidentally, today's Classic Car Weekly is warning that prices are steadying and even dropping for some marques. The bubble hasn't burst, but it's quivering.
I remember reading something very similar from them about a year ago. Like a stopped clock, they'll be right eventually.JakeT said:

RS4s don't generally suffer from timing chain problems, but as they're TFSI engines they're prone to carbon build up and DRC struts leaking, though the replacement units are much better quality. The unloved E60 M5 will probably fall more, and be bought by the wrong people.
