My FiL has a similarly mint 1995 316i Compact, which he has owned from new. His only has 55,000 miles on the clock with a full BMW history. I wouldn't expect it to get anymore than £500.
I suspect keeping it the garage for another 10 years and similarly low mileage that it might grow in value??

I wouldn't say the 316i was worth anymore than £600. At the end of the day it's not a very desirable model from the E36 range.

Be lucky to get £400 IMO.
I paid £450 for a E36 328 with 128k and full mot. Not that milage is massively relevant at this price point.
I'm curious, how did you get one for such a low amount!? I'm not doubting you picked one up for that, but a price like that certainly isn't representative of the E36 328 market. Did you buy it in the run up to xmas or something?I paid £450 for a E36 328 with 128k and full mot. Not that milage is massively relevant at this price point.

Something isn't right.
150,000 miles is mega mileage yet it's described as mint.
Has it had a nut and bolt restoration in the last 20 miles?
Do you mean a well cared for but high mileage e36 in good condition?

looks tidy for the mileage rather than 'mint'.
Can't see a white 316 being very desirable really. If it were a 328 with leather and all the twiddly bits...
