fitting new oe bushes

Front/rear and upper/lower Wishbones back from being stripped and repainted, now its time to put in new bushes.

I bought OE as they were £150 v £350 for the poly version.

They were a bh to get out and have to believe they'll be easier going back in.

Need to know what tool to use, trying not to use a 20 ton press. Will a threded bar tool work?

Hi,you can do it with an bench vice. But a big and strong one. With help of socket(nuts) I'm not sure if its the right word for these tools.
And if you warming up the wishbones and cool down the bushes( inside the freezer of the fridge) it will work very well.

Rod and nuts will do it
Get some lube on them

Both methods work, I did mine last winter and found it best to use a drill with a wire brush to clean the inside then add loads of copper slip.
The vice worked best for me.

^That, clean them out and lube them up. It was 100 times easier to get them in than out for me, 20 tonne press struggled to get the old ones out, a vice and some sockets got the new ones in.
