I've watched over the last couple of weeks fuel prices come down, obviously quite a lot.

With this, do thirsty cars now come back into the picture for a little bit? Resulting this i can imagine some prices either holding or even going back up!

Thoughts?

I suspect not, or at least not significantly. Everyone will be assuming that petrol prices being this low is only a temporary thing.

This.

I think the "low MPG is bad" mentality is too deeply ingrained in the populace for attitudes to change significantly.

I doubt they will go up, at best big engined cars might depreciate a bit more slowly.

I think it may have a bit of and effect, however I think more people are thinking sod it as modern diesels, though economical, can get very expensive.
