Hello Tuscan people. Sold my Cerb last year and been looking for another TVR.
Went to look at this car today and had a quick drive around.

The red is not so in your face as the pics show and I quite like it. It seems the car may have lived in the Derby/Sheffield area (?) and the history shows a recent engine rebuild, new clutch and slave plus lots of invoices as expected.
The registration number was MS02 TVR.
If anyone knows this car, its history or any info, please advise. PM me if you wish.
Thank you.

All I can remember is the last service stamp was in 2012 by StraightSix, there was a large invoice for £5,500 for clutch, slave, geometry, service etc in 2012 (I think) then an invoice which said Tappet Check following engine rebuild. So presumably in the last couple of years or so?
If I do want to go ahead, I will check all the invoices carefully.

Following the info from members on here and the TVR club, I have walked away. In essence the car has been up for sale a number of times this year and there is serious doubt as to whether it has been in an accident or not. It does sound 'tappety' so maybe it needs a rebuild.
It was taken by Sytner select's manager to Harrogate for a misfire and 'tune up'. 'New plugs and on the laptop' yet it is down on power.
At the end of November a PH member was told it was sold at Sytners but they appear to be hiding something as they wouldn't allow me to study the history file.
This is the second time they have tried selling a car in less than perfect condition (polite words so as not to upset the mods). In the BMW section I warned people about an M6 with a failed Vanos oil pump - £4,000 to fix - which they refused to repair and put the car into auction.
So my advice is leave this car well alone and thanks to all who commented as you have no doubt saved me a fortune!
