CR Exhaust Tips..
Discussion
Hi,
I would like to put larger tips on my Cayman R..
Will the 9th ones down (second from bottom) be ok?

85mm? (Not sure what standard ones are?)
Also, how does one fit them?

I have looked at the same thing on mine and it appears that the tips are essentially decorative, tack welded to the actual pipe. I think that you should be able to have them cut off and replaced with some larger bore stainless. Firms like Wunoff should be able to do this.
Caveat - I admit that frequently what looks simple on the CR is in fact rather more complicated, but worth investigating.

Hi guys,
I've just bought a 2006 cayman s and really want some round tailpipes like on later models. Ive seen lots of different ones for sale are all around £200 upwards. I don't really want to be spending that much especially when everybody following will get the benefit. Has anyone got any ideas as they don't have to be new just in decent knick?
Thanks
Andy
