R129 Merc SL Don't want a auto and it looks a bit old manish
S1 Elise/VX220 Ones a Vauxhall and the other don't look very comfortable
S2000 Have thought about it but hasn't got that wow factor
E36 m3 Had one before
Z3M Expensive cant you get one for under 10k?
Caterfield Good fun but not very practical
Tvr Chim I have been looking for one of these....

E46 vert Still dropping in value

Boxster Have looked at these but I'd always be wishing I'd had a 911 and the dreaded ims bearing is a bit off putting to.

650ci Always liked the look of these maybe will have to look into them in more detail, Do they come as a manual?

Maserati 3200 Anther nice looking car but I,d always be afraid of the bills when it go's wrong.
CLK55 Are they still losing value?
996 Cab Been looking at these to but cant find a nice spec one for under 10k and there's the ims again.

What im after?
Idealy rear wheel drive 2 seater rag top with a bit of wow factor something a little bit different and plenty of oomph

Am I being to fussy?

For me, it'd be a VX220. But then I'm not a badge snob. smile

The Chim is a good bet too, although probably a fair bit more expensive to run.

I woulnd't say a basic 911 has any "wow factor". The anonymity of the styling is one of the most appealing aspects of it.

What this meant to mean then? smile

Anyway it's not really a Vauxhall. It was designed by Lotus and built by Lotus in Lotus's factory. Lotus even had a significant hand in the design of the engine, you could argue it has more Lotus content than the Elise.

Still "not liking it" is a very good reason not to get one, even if the badge isn't. smile

I would buy a TVR Chimaera. They are just wonderful, and I am not saying that just because I've owned them for 15 years.

The clk55 is auto only (with paddles). Don't overlook them, though, as they are very, very quick

The TVR chimaera bmw 6 series convertible and the sl55 to to be ticking the right boxes at the moment.
The only thing with the SL55 is it comes in auto.
As much as I like the idea of flappy paddles I feels its just anther thing to go wrong.
