PS4 killing wifi
Discussion
Hi guys,
This should probably go in the computer section but thought i'd ask the gamers first.
Has anyone found that when using their PS4 over wifi it kills the wifi connections of any other device connected to the router?
The router itself is a SKY supplied Sagem unit which is around 4yrs old. I've never knowingly performed a firmware update on this, not sure if its an automatic thing.
Any ideas chaps as i cant leave the PS4 in rest mode due to this?
Many thanks

As easy as that ey.
Blimey, mine is the opposite problem. On Virgin 150mb pack, the PS4 is connected via ethernet but the second anyone in the decides to stream music or a you tube video my connection goes horrendous. Phoned Virgin and they just say their is works going on in my area (it has been for years now apparently). I believe theirs more to it than that so if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears

May be worth purchasing a router with QOS (Quality of Service) and prioritising the PS4 traffic.Blimey, mine is the opposite problem.
