Missed car tax DD.

Couple of quid short in my account. Returned Direct debit from DVLA, what happens now? Will they try again?
Tried google but nothing came up. (Unless I'm being thick.)

Unpaid DDs usually represent in 7 days although youre better just ringing them to be sure
