Back to v8 ownership

Hi guys been a member for a few years and I'm back having picked up a ls3 vxr8 in White from precious metal elite

What can I say apart from I'm smiling again I only picked it up yesterday and I'm already looking for excuses to drive it.

No doubt I will be asking many questions. But for now just the one.

The stereo display keeps going off as I'm driving is it a quick fix ? Also reading back there was a member doing the rear aux mod with the graphic change and vim can anyone point me in the right direction

For the display issues - mist likely cause is just dirty connectors. Pull if the infotainment fascia, clean, replace.

Welcome back to the V8 fold, glad you are enjoying it so much already

Ref the stereo - Foxdie is the stereo man for aux leads etc. Sorry about the stereo issue, maybe its temp related as didn't do it hear in the short time I had it, but I had a similar fault on another one last month that was poor connections and resolved using the forum link

I have just had the front tint taken off and I'm tempted to remove the rear, living in Birmingham with tints that dark all the local youths think your selling drugs..

When I picked up my car I saw this one come in. It looked lovely although I thought the colour was black. It had just driven down from Scotland I believe and looked like it had driven through a muddy puddle. It certainly looks even better clean. It also had a lovely burbling popping exhaust.
