Car safe

Just seen a chimaera with a small safe behind the seats. Was this an original option or some after market add on? It's a good idea all the same.

Are there many cars with a onboard strong box?

All chims had storage boxes behind the front seats.

This is a proper strong box/ safe in the middle of the rear area that locks. It been covered by carpets. I haven't seen one before.

it was never on the standard options list, so probably added later but anything was possible if you asked nicely enough at times.

Passports, wallet etc. when touring especially.

We always do when touring in a motorhome, (as long as it isn't nicked!).

Its not going to be secure ,it`s only thin fiberglass ..My 12volt grinder would have the lot out in seconds.
