Following this thread in the S forum http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I have a couple of queries that I'd like some help with.

I have an S3C and a Tamora. Both are off the road at the moment for a number of reasons. I have decided to do some mods / changes whilst the other issues are sorted.

One of these jobs is to get the exhaust manifolds coated. I sourced some manifolds for the Tamora but they have an M12 fitting for the lambda - the current ones are M18 4-wire sensors.. The S has an M18 fitting but uses 3-wire lambasted.

I have to do some welding and buy new sensors for the S.

With this in mind can I swap the fitting bosses between the manifolds? So putting the M18 on the Tamora manifolds and the M12 on the S. Then can I get any new M12 3-wire sensors (the oringinal loom plugs were removed by a previous owner) for the S.

Finally, can anyone point me in the direction where I can locate new boss fittings just in case I need 'new' ones.

Thanks.

You can get them on ebay- search Lambda boss.

You can also get m18 to m12 reducer as well, I had my replacement manifold fitted with m18 and use a reducer for my current narrow band sensor s, so I can fit wideband later.

Reducers won't help. I'll get some m18 bosses and get the Tamora ones swapped out. The 3 wire m18 sensors are available at no premium so no point messing with the S ones.
