Guess the PH

He had five different TVR's but gave them up as they were just "too much" for him, he bought a Masserati when he found love and a puppy but gave it up because it wasn't "practical", he bought a diesal Merc to go with his new found pipe and slippers image but gave it up to "save money for the wedding" The latest is he has bought a "lovely little Ford Muecus" and seems blissfully happy and contented but boy oh boy has he lost the plot, his delightful wife to be informed me this evening on the phone that over the christmas break he had "nearly completed a rather taxng 1000 piece jigsaw" She denies all blame for having any adverse influence on him and says he's done it all hiself......................

What is going on? I always thought that after a near death experience (did you know he nearly died?) people got filled with a new found thirst for life and lived it to the full, this blokes on a slippery slope towards a care home FFS.

Have you guessed who it is yet ?

That's precisely why I am going to stay a bachelor.

I'm sure he is very happy, but I would rather be a micron less happy and have great cars, be my own bloke and have the pallate of women at my fingertips.

That's the idea anyway.

How old is he?

I am pretty sure I know, but I do remember a comment about the Masser being a "rock solid" investment....

It's either that reason or the fact that you got dumped after Christmas....

Yes loking at your profile I see the fabulous array of cars you have owned....

36 actually. Not old enough to own a Capri ghia. Change of job and a forthcoming wedding have cancelled the plans for another TVR for the next year or so, plus the fact I have a nice cruise of the Carribean booked for next Jan and a trip to the Maldives in between...

As for Mel well, what can I say except it's about time I told everyone his dirty secret....
