forgot to sign cheque

[wole0911]

Hi I forgot to sign a cheque and the bank still honoured it is that usual practice?

[Sheepshanks]

Yes.

[briang9]

cant remember when I last used a cheque, not even sure I still have any

[Eric Mc]

The bank shouldn't really have processed the cheque but they perform very perfunctory checks these days and all sorts of incorrectly written cheques still get through.
