Hello,

New on this forum. Does anybody have identified the rear diff bush. It is the same diameter as Griff ones but shorter.
Thanks Hans

Can you put some more info on?
Haven't got the V8S diff but the 290 is very similar and I can't fathom which bush you're refering to.

I'm guessing the two on the back as the front ones are the same (same as a wedge too iirc, readily available when I did mine). The rear mount on the v8 diff is completely different to the photos I've seen of the v6 one, there's a clearly made by tvr bit that bolts to the diff and attaches to the chassis by two rubber bushes. I gave up trying to figure out what they were from and made my own (sorry). pictures of the different mounts here http://www.pistonheads.com/GASSING/topic.asp?h=0&a...

and a DeLorean!

Standard also available but no rear mountings listed. Might be worth a phone call or try David Geralds, they seem to have more for the older cars than most of the TVR Specialists, Or Adrian has a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Guess you could cut the Griff/Chimaera bushes down a bit or try somewhere like Polymax if you know the dimensions scratchchin

Hallo,

I did some searching and the way TVR worked in the past they always used bits which they had in stock.
The front mounting plate of the V8s diff is from a Wedge and the rear diff bush is the same as the one of the tiebar bushes from a A-frame wedge ( late 350 or 400)
