New tax rules, SORN help?

Hi Guys

Hopefully somebody can clear this up for me!

On Saturday i bought a car that has been SORN'd by the last keeper and i would like to SORN the car myself but only have the V5 green slip.

Do i wait for the V5 to come back in my name and need to do anything else?
