VXR8 brake light issue.

Hello all,
Only had my VXR8 a week now and starting to discover the temperament electrics when the outside temperature drops.
Recently my missus was following me home and she noticed that all the brake lights would sometimes stay on even if I wasn't braking. Tap the brake pedal again and they would then cancel. It doesn't happen every time the brakes are applied and generally only seems to happen when the brakes are applied lightly. Heavy braking doesn't effect it.
Does this sound like another weird temperature related issue which will disappear as the climate warms or more like a sticky relay or switch? Not 100% what electrical components are used from the brake servo onwards.
