This will be the 16th visit and I am looking forward this year as much as ever and guess what? It hasn’t got much to do with the racing!

For those who spend shed loads going on the multitudinous ‘Cannonball’ or ‘Gumball’ type events why bother, go to Le Mans. Many more cars to Hoon with, great roads, some racing to watch if you like and loads of French to bait, who could ever ask for more?

2nd time for me and I can't wait! All booked up - and just ordered the 2004 Le Mans DVD so I can catch up on the racing missed (most of it) before June!

Agree about the gumball/cannonball comment - I have a great photo of a petrol station on the road near Rouen - full of silly cars, including a chap and a girl in a RADICAL!

I sooo wanted to go this year (would be my first time) but the misses is due to drop around June so I can't. But still looking forward to 2006.

I'll be excited when I get the tickets in my hand. Until then, I'll be irritated, annoyed, p*ssed off, ranting and incredulous at the hassle of the whole affair.

I thought it was bad in 2001. Looks like it's got worse!

This year is gonna be my 10th trip.

I've been excited about it since June 2004, drives the misses up the wall. Now if only I could find the same enthusiasm about decorating the living room!!

Got bought the Le Mans DVD for Christmas. Couldn't believe my eyes when right at the end of the race, my husband (Steve_T), John Gaytor and the rest of the Surrey mob come into view running down the pit lane with the 6 metre flags. Result!.
Looking forward to it already.
