Hard racing - great to see... mega! That battle needs to be seen in the context of the final lap of Sebring 2007, when Jamie Melo in a Ferrari 458 barged Bergmeister out of the way at the last corner and stole the win: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQfO1yQ4j3w
After that experience I would imagine Jorg decided he wasn't going to let anyone else try and do that again.

Maybe I am old school, but the bumping and barging is unnecessary and the crash at the end was disgraceful ! IMO no need for it, it shows a lack of talent and respect, good close exciting racing does not need contact.
That Corvette does sound fab though
I didn't like the move the corvette tried to pull at the end, really. And at any point he could have pulled out of the drag-race along the wall. That Corvette does sound fab though

Agreed. Love taps may be acceptable in the tabloid racing standards of touring car (although god knows why)but in FIAGT or AMLMS I expect more professional behaviour. Bad form. When the gloves came off, I do not blame the Porsche driver for closing the door. The move was never on anyway without going off of the circuit. That Corvette does sound fab though

A young Michael Shumacher had no problem driving like that to win the F1 WC from Damon Hill. No excuses but thats how he won a world championship.
I remember the incident well - MS deliberately tried to take out DH, and subsequently his damaged front sus did indeed retire the englishman.I thought that was disgraceful too, but it was a 'low' speed corner with no wall involved.
Well done MS.
