Sainsburys credit card IT problems

I've just been on the phone to Sainsburys Credit card people as my card was declined in 2 different stores at lunchtime. It appears that their IT department is suffering technical problems and some customers cards are being declined.
Very annoying as I'd planned a day at the sales today and having spent ages trying stuff on then had to pay by other means...and return home early to find out what was going on.
