Early sports JP exhausts were like that then they changed the small box to two cherry bomb type silences.

Interesting and useful! I was considering putting two stainless cheerybomb style silencers on mine in place of the standard silencer, but was pondering how to secure the exhaust to the mounts. Your pic has just given me the clue I needed.

This aside, you're basically running semi-sleeved in comparison to the standard silencer.

It will indeed be loud decatted, but would still sound nice, especially over 3k rpm.
