So cleaned it up a bit new years day (looks better in these pics)

and tucked it away for the cold snap (need to put the charger (conditioner) on it soon, battery version not super before people get excited)

I would put it in the garage but cavalier projects seem to blocking the space

(yes GearJammer Steve....its me from the mk2 site)

I envy those of you who have decent garages rather than the bloody shoebox I squeeze my R8 into! Been trying to buy the garage attached to mine as its not linked to the house next door and I could knock through then but the silly women won't sell!!

I do that in October.. you know, when the weather is still good. Never used to be :P (it's just because the tax ran out then).

Looking forward to the Spring.. if it ever appears.

Will be tucking my R8 away soon for a couple of months due to work. Where would you recommend for a decent cover out of interest? The garage is yet to be built but on the shopping list.

Bought my garage on eBay auction for £135! Had to dismantle and rebuild which took a few weeks, with concrete and materials total cost came in under a grand total and yes my old ute and the r8 fit in with room to walk around!

So the old Cavalier gets the garage while the Monaro has to sleep outside? That's not right! smile

Well John, the white cavalier has been around since 1998 (in my onwership). I have been rebuilding it since 2007......don't ask.......its got no innards and no side windows so would last to well outside. Especially compared to a galvanised ro under a cover (stormforce for someone asking earlier). Once I've sorted it both the ro and the white cav will be put inside.
