Why can't wheel spacers be fitted to a 2014 Cayenne GTS?

As the title, really. A friend took his Cayenne GTS to the local OPC for wheel spacers to be fitted and was informed that Porsche do not recommend fitment and it would invalidate the warranty if undertaken. All other Cayenne models are ok, but not the GTS.
Can anyone tell me why this is?

Could it be Porsche deviating away from the "chav factor"..

Probably due to the GTS having wider track than the common S.

I think you will find that it relates to the wheel offset and the tyre not hitting the bodywork
