Another Vehicle Tax Question

I've just set up payment by DD for 1 of our cars from January 1st. It was previously SORN. Seemed a painless process.

The car will need to be SORN again from April 1st. If I do the SORN online do DVLA automatically stop taking the DD amounts or do I also have to cancel the DD?

I will then be taxing the car again on 1st August so I'm guessing I just go through the DD process again as I did for Jan 1.

I don't have direct experience but given how DD works someone needs to instruct the bank to stop paying. id do it myself for good measure as long as you've paid what you owe
