Is there a way to get your car history?

I am doing the PPI thing and GMAC won't play cos I can't remember the car reg that we had finance for!!!! are there any routes I can go down to find out!

no, we bought it from a dealer who had done the HPI

Old photos? Friends photos? Old insurance docs, servicing bills?

Don't think DVLA will give you a list of cars you were RK for - imagine!

Failing that, I don't think not know the reg is valid grounds for refusal.

ETA - dealer's old records?

Inchcape was the dealer (Farnborough) but apparently they have had a new computer system so lost all old records YEAH RIGHT!
