I'm thinking of a petrol estate, a4 or 5 series.
Would like a x5, rrsv8, cayenne or a5. Again petrol but fuel and running costs are in issue.

Think I might get a small loan and pay a few k towards it over 30 months.

What' would to go for?

meed 5 doors and good boot space, hence the estate.

Also can anyone explain the differences (not visual) between a5 and a4?

Thanks

If running costs were an issue, an X5, RRS V8 and Porsche Cayenne wouldn't be on my list.

A close friend of mine runs a E60 520D Sport touring. Looks lovely, goes alright for what it is and gets silly MPG from it. It has been faultless in the 2 years he has owned it and now sits on 150,000 miles.

If you wanted some more poke get a 530D.

I wouldn't spent any extra cash on a A4 etc than something from VW or Skoda.

What's your budget?

Maybe worth looking at a BMW F31 328i or 335i Touring.

I'd be looking at the F31 335i BMW.

I've had lots of both (I have dogs).

Either. BMW will break down more (my findings). Audi nicer interior, BM better RWD. Quattro better 4x4.

Audis have held their value better.

Cars have been from new.
