I'm going for a day trip to London with a mate next week. Up here in Manchester, there are a lot of restaurants doing 50% off food for the duration of January.

Do any of you guys know of places in London doing similar? Preferably blokey steak food.

Which manc restaurants are doing 50% off? I've heard about cane and grain but am not aware of any others (although haven't actually tried looking too hard either)

Hibernating or something, clearly.

Cheers for the link, I've been meaning to try Lucha Libre for ages!

I went to Grill on the Alley on Monday night. Mussels in a light coconut curry starter and t bone steak to follow. Was lovely. Half price made it even tastier.

My sister went to Smoak last night too. If you're in need of a hangover cure, the Smoak brunch is amazing. £20 for an unlimited quality buffet starter, your choice of main and a dessert. The buffet is worth the £20 in itself. Loads of salads, different smoked fish, hams on the bone, terrines, pates and pancakes and waffles made to order.
