Read lots about these pads and like most find standard pads on my machine not the best especially in these greasy conditions find front wheel locks easily, So where is the best place to get a set of Pagid RS4-2 from, best price and delivery etc.
Cheers.

I would be interested in this too, so perhaps if there is enough interest we could do a group buy...

I also am looking for these pads. I have my car booked for an "A" service and geo on 28th Jan. Any chance of getting some before then?

Also, anyone have recommendation for replacement discs? I really want to improve the standard brakes which are letting down the car..

I'm up for a group buy on these too - might be better runb on seloc though as you'll get more interest and should be able to get them cheaper. If you get enough interest you could just call Pagid direct and I'm sure they'd be able to help out.

Jay - I don't know how long you've had you car but if it's new, then it could just be that you're not used to unassisted brakes in an Elise - the pedal needs a good shove. Apologies if I'm patronising you but the Elise brakes are great IMO and new discs are unlikely to do a huge amount.

We have these pads discounted by 5% but if you purchase 5 sets then we can give you 10% discount off the RRP price, but if you buy 10 sets of these then we can give you 15% discount off the RRP price.

The first response from a company called need for speed.

Yep, S1, S2, Exige and 340R all use the same pads.

I gave a price for Pagid RS42's which didn't include VAT! £211 for full set (eliseparts.com).

According to this same website, Pagid RS14 or RS42 fit S1, S2, & Exige.

How do we actually go about a group buy? Can we give a list of names to the company and then buy on our own credit card?

Great stuff cheers.

In relation to how we go about it, it largely depends upon the supplier. Some insist that it is one payment and one delivery. Where this has happened in the past I have taken payments from group buyers and added costs for P&P. When I take delivery I then post the goods on. Other suppliers (which is obviously much better!) allow individuals to buy them and get them send to their address(sometimes using a password for the group buy or a particular code number). It largely depends upon the supplier, the level of discount and the hassle the group wants.

Firstly what we need to do is get people to confirm they are definitely in and exactly what they want...
