Is there a 'proper' road into Norwich these days?
Last time I drove up there (from southern climes), I remember most of the journey being on a single carriage way A11, where it was mostly nose to tail in both directions for the last 20 or so (maybe more?) miles.
I made the journey three times if memory serves, so I assume that was something of a constant.
I did cause some rather severe upset to other road users by using (my then new) 500s full acceleration capacity to make progress through the traffic.
In my limited defence, I was much younger and more inclined towards impetuous behaviour in those days.
In all seriousness, it was that stretch of road that put me off ever returning.

Unfortunately the A11 is now dualled all the way to Norwich. Now the peace and quiet will be destroyed by all and sundry wanting to come to the best (and some think flattest) County in England!
