Has anybody got a tie rod for a early 83 wedge? That is the NSF ( passengers side) that travels back from lower wishbone to the chassis.

Hmmm, by '83 TVR had reverted to having the tie-rod in tension rather than compression (like it was on the Cortina before TVR buggered it up).
It's the same part as used on the Cortina.

Been trying to find one for sale...No joy...What was it called on the Cortina...Front stabiliser bar?...TVR calls it the leading link arm....Ziga

Cheers Ziga, the Ford websites that I went on ...recognise it as a tie rod....the Cortina/Granada ones shown are similar to

the later Tivs 400/350i with the arb connection close to the wishbone.....not like the one I have with the eye farther along

the bar near the middle.....hopes this helps somewhat!! Ade.

Is it this bit that i have coloured in blue?...TVR calls it in the Wedge parts manual a "Leading link"...And whatever LH...RH When mine were taken off a short while ago to do the bushes they did look different to what i had on the 280i....

Are you aware that there is a decided kink purposely designed into the arm.

Yes I am....the one in the picture is the same as on my 400. The Ford ones did appear to be a bit straighter.!

That's the one...must be the same as on your 280 then...I will take a pic and post it up tomorrow guys.
