Fog Lamps - again
Discussion
Hi all,
I've cracked another one - what's the best source for Monaro VXR 2006 at the moment please? I know that MF sell them (got all of my replacements from them) but I'm thinking of doing my own bulk buy.
I have colleagues around the globe - so if there is any merit in buying them internationally and getting them posted, that may be an option as I'm tempted to get a few (I don't really want to change the appearance of the car so blanking them is not an option).
Many thanks for any replies,
Ian
PS - had the car undersealed over Christmas - very happy with the result ... I'll post some pics.

I made some mesh covers up similar to the picture. Painted them black and just push fitted them in ,once fitted in the recess on my Ro you hardly notice them.
Good idea - I was going to cut out some Perspex and fit it - but chickened out as I didn't want to drill holes and permanently change the look. If the recess lends itself to 'holding' a plug, that's sounds to be a much better option. If you look at my earlier posts I did have my fogs wrapped in rally grade protection film - but one still broke. :-(Any suggestions on where to source the mesh?
I got it from B&Q it needs to be a grade that is easily bendable, holes not too big so a stone will get through ,I then used an aerosol lid (which was slightly smaller than the hole I am fitting them in) drew around that, cut it out a with a pair of tin snips leaving a lip deep enough so they are away from the lights when fitted, bent that up, sprayed it black and used some double sided tape I had to hold them in. The recess is deep enough to hold them so no gluing needed. Been in now for 4000 miles.
