Selling company van, couple of questions?

I need to sell my company owned van, as my new lease van is arriving this week, I have a couple of questions, as I've never done this before.

When I bought the van, the dealer told me there was no Vat to pay, and on the invoice there is no mention of Vat.

I am Vat registered, so am I right in thinking I just 0% rate it. Ie I create an invoice, and have the Vat as 0%?

Am I able to sell to public on a sold as seen basis, ie no comeback, just like a private sale?


The tax is on a direct debit, so I take it, that will just automatically cancel once the V5 sent off?

Also where is best to advertise vans, is eBay the best/cheapest?

If anyone can answer these questions for me, that would be great .
