Have a 997 targa which suffers from a loud clicking when opening or closing the targa roof - any ideas?

Hi paddy, think it might be cables slipping on motors?

Paddy - in Northern Ireland but in Yorkshire during the week normally.

What's wrong with me plate?

Paddy,

Has the car 20 months. Noise happened couple of months after we got it. It only occurs when putting glass forward or back.

Could it be under or over lubricated?

I am in North yorkshire m-f normally so if your roof expert was somewhere oop north?

I come in peace.

It looks like it was ripped of a ford focus RS at a Fast Ford meet.

I hope you won't beat me into a pulp for saying that but that is what he meant....

Its a lovely piece of kit though, your Targa.
