Any good Dr's out there know what Pleuropericardial Adhesion is? Is it good or bad! Its not for me, but seen it on a medical report.

the pelural membrane is what lines the chest cavity

the heart layds within the chest cavity

the pericardial sac surrounds the heart

an adhesion is where something that usually isn't joined is ...

It can affect the efficiency of the heart as it's a restriction on the movement of the cardiac muscle during contraction.

Many thanks. I have a mate who is joining who i work for and he had a recent chest xray which said there could be PA. He is ex Army, 22 years, fit as a fiddle, passed all tests up to the day he left with ease so was worried. He is going for more tests to check but asked me if i had heard about it.
