Does anyone have first hand experience of the quality of TheWHeelSpecialist (Garforth) or WheelRepairs (Wortley)?

Or even recommend any other companies. The wheels are from the mk7 golf r (Cadiz rim). WR quoted 100 + vat.. was hoping for a bit cheaper tbh. They have their own lathe in the unit FYI.

Though I have had no first hand experience, I have plenty of friends who use the wheel specialist at Garforth and are very impressed with them

Actually no, but when I was looking at doing mine on a mini GP others have used them and they sent me pictures of examples they have done. It looked very good, but I sold the car before I got round to doing the wheels. Was about £100/wheel iirc

I contacted them last year and was told that they don't do Diamond Cut wheels. Their location in Manchester does, but obviously that's not as convenient.

I ended up using Pristine Wheels in Milton Keynes who did a superb job.

looking at their fb page and pictures - there seems to be a lot of chrome painted finish wheels. I've sent them an email anyhow.

Anyone know other local companies? I ideally would like to leave the car with them rather than the farce of removing tyres etc.

I haven't used them personally

http://www.dentrepairs.co.uk/wheel-repairs/

They are just outside Leeds City Centre on A58

According to their FB page its 4 for 3 if booked/completed in January

Believe they may be £100 + VAT for diamond cut wheels with a 2/3 day turn around

All that jazz

Have a look in the Yorkshire regional forum. The topic was discussed only a few days ago.

Took mine to Elite Wheel Repair in Hunslet: http://www.elitewheelrepair.co.uk/

By the look of their facebook page, they do diamond cut as well. I rate them!

My dad used these guys too and they did a great job for a reasonable price, not diamond cut though.
