The Honda CR-V needs some new tyres.

The current tyre is a 205/70R15 96H - Bridgestone Dueler HT 684. There's nothing wrong with this tyre - it's been fine.

They seem to be quite expensive in comparison to some of the other options out there - a potential saving of 30-50% depending on what brand you go for, some of which I've even heard of.

Federal
Falken
Maxxis
Pirelli (only marginally cheaper)

I am still looking for a decent tyre though.

Any suggestions?

The Bridgestone Dueller HT684 are £78.09 delivered each on Tyreleader. Good price for a premium tyre IMO.

Just wondered if some of the cheaper tyre options were worth buying. It's hardly requires a premium brand and was wondering what else was a good tyre.

If I can spend £40 per tyre supply only, then it's worth it!

They are £70 delivered from http://www.camskill.co.uk/m26b0s257p0/SUV_Tyres_-_...

i wouldn't bother with them though as they are awful on road, off road and everything in between. If I had to choose from the site above, i'd go for either Hankook Dynapros or Yokohama Geolandars, both of which are excellent tyres.

I've always had great luck with federal. Started buying them in the Impreza considered budget but I like them.

Also rate falken.

OT - But I've just seen 'Uniglory' tyres at the bottom that link - that's a new one!
