Another Soundbar hunt - needed for temporary deployment
Discussion
Hi All,
The day to move home is drawing ever closer, and the AV guys are starting their install in the next couple of weeks - meaning most of my gear will be prised from my clutches, and I will be relying on older stuff for my temporary home until I move back.
The VT65 will be gone, along with the Onkyo and Gallo Diva Ti's, so I will need to rely on my trusty old Kuro LX-5090. Trouble is, it doesnt have audio, so I am looking to purchase a temporary fix to tide me over a month or so.
I will need a decent sound bar with HDMI I/O (signal will be fed from my smaller 4x4 matrix, so no need for multiple inputs) that can handle all the current sound standards, maybe with an additional sub for support (ideally wireless if such exists??). It won't go to waste when I get back to my place, as I will stick it in the guest room, along with the Kuro to delight visitors.
All and any suggestions are gratefully received - I don't really know where to begin looking. The sonos play bar, or which I have two, is not suitable, given it's DTS compatibility issues.
Cheers, Bradders.
