Car and Van Rental UK to Europe

Looking to hire a car or Van (ideally a van) to take to the Nurburgring (not go around in the hire vehicle)!

I can only find one place who will let me take a van into Europe and that's Admiral hire - but they want £800 + £500 deposit + waiver fees for 6 days which is a bit steep!

Has anybody got any ideas for anywhere in the south?

You might need the logbook and insurance papers if you get stopped by the Police in France, for example, but what are the odds of that happening? If so, call the rental company, I'm sure they'd fax it over if it meant getting their van back. I'd be tempted to risk it.

I was thinking this....but trying to do it legit!

I guess when i stack it into some bloke in Belgium I may have some issues on my hands
