Ferrari 250SWB at Revival: Time For Tea?

Often we like to post videos in the Time For Tea? slot that are relevant to the recent news. Y'know, like a Norman Dewis video shortly after his OBE. Time appropriate and often adding something further to the original story.

Not this one. This video was chosen because it's wonderful. Yes, Revival onboards have featured previously but this one's a joy. There isn't a bad car in the TT race but a Ferrari 250SWB Drogo surely has to be up there with the very best. The camera captures the glorious V12 wail and all the race action just nicely. And of course, this being the TT, there is plenty of race action: cars are spinning off, there's the odd dicey overtake and there's abundant oversteer.

The race starts at 6:45. Get the kettle on and put your feet up. If you've had a bad day this will improve things.

The whole Revival this year had fantastic coverage (tho they tried to limit who could watch it - not exactly hard to get around) - thoroughly excellent from start-to-finish.

I've never watched anybody pedalling something really quick through Fordwater - either from inside the car or without - and failed to get goosebumps. Probably the best corner in the UK to watch historic cars.

Just shows how careful you have to be racing someone else's 250SWB against someone else's 250GTO. Imagine the bill if you got it wrong!
